Join us for a musical performance sponsored by our friends at CIC St. Louis, featuring: Musician Brian Vaccaro!

Brian Vaccaro graduated from Webster University in St. Louis in 1996 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music with an emphasis in Jazz Studies. He continued his education at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville where he earned a Master’s Degree in Music in Guitar Performance in 2000. Since completing his studies, Brian has been active as an educator as well as a performer. He has taught a variety of jazz and general music courses including Jazz History, Jazz Ensemble, Guitar Ensemble, Rock History, Private Guitar Study and numerous others at Southwestern Illinois College, St. Louis Community College, and St. Charles Community College. In 2010, Brian received the Outstanding Adjunct Faculty award from St. Louis Community College at Meramec. Brian was recently an adjunct instructor at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO and is now full time faculty at Grand Center Arts Academy in St. Louis. He has also performed and recorded with many of the top musicians in the St. Louis area.
Brian has managed extra-curricular music education programs offering individual and group lessons, rock band programs, and a regular schedule of visiting artist workshops including artists such as Tommy Emmanuel, Larry Coryell, Tuck Andress, Johnny Hiland, Greg Koch, and Ernie Isley since 2001.
“Going Through the Motions”, the debut album by the Brian Vaccaro Trio, was honored to be included in the “Notable Releases of 2011” list by noted critic and author W. Royal Stokes. Brian currently performs in and around the St. Louis area.

A St. Louis Entertainer nominee, 2016 and 2017 for best male entertainer! Mr. Flowers is a veteran singer/entertainer. He has been a featured singer in his own Cabaret show at The Gaslight Theater in St. Louis, MO and The Gardenia in Los Angeles, CA! He’s an original member of  the musical revue, “Tell Me Somethin’ Good”. An original theater piece by The St. Louis Black repertory Theater Co. Flowers appeared in the Black Rep’s Father’s Day Concerts as well as in the company’s productions of Dreamgirls, Damn Yankees, The Gospel At Colonus, Black Nativity, Crossing Over, Dressin’ Up, Steppin’ Out and Gettin’ Down. He has toured both nationally and internationally(2 European tours-Germany, Italy,Switzerland, Austria, France) with the Golden Gospel Singers. He also toured with the production, “Looking For Mr. Do-Right”, where he shared the stage with Peabo Bryson, Deniece Williams, Morris Day, Dave Hollister and Cherelle. Flowers has performed with Barry Manilow, Me’lissa Morgan, Earth Wind & Fire, Michael Bolton, Lynne Fiddmont.
